The Shoot'em Up Collection in the Coin-Op: The Arcade Guide series, published by Greyfox Books in 2023 as the second book in the line, following the format of the original Coin-Op volume. It is a 136-page hardback in an 8.5 by 11.5 inch format with a gloss-finish cover and satin silk paper.

The book presents 74 arcade shooters spanning the genre's arcade history, from 1970s foundations such as Taito's Space Invaders and Atari's Asteroids through Williams' Defender and Namco's Galaga '88 to the 1990s work of Raizing and Cave, Battle Garegga, DoDonPachi and Muchi Muchi Pork among them, each given a visual showcase built around screenshots. A short history section introduces the genre for newcomers.

Its angle is curatorial rather than critical, a large-format visual survey of the arcade shmup as an art object.
