The sixth issue of Shooting Gameside, published by Micro Magazine in 2013 at a slimmer 127 pages. The lead feature marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of Dragon Spirit, Namco's dragon-themed vertical shooter, as the second of the series' recurring Namco specials. It is built out with event reportage: a talk and signing session with composers Shinji Hosoe and tatsuya, a Namco arcade sound staff talk show, and messages from the artists on the Xevious 30th anniversary tribute album.

New-release coverage includes Ginga Force, DoDonPachi Maximum, Super Chain Crusher Horizon and Snops Attack! Zombie Defense, plus a second instalment of the Llamasoft feature on Jeff Minter's games.
