Coverage spans the company's whole shooting history: the Gradius, Salamander and Life Force line, TwinBee, Parodius and Otomedius, the early arcade games Scramble, Super Cobra, Time Pilot and Gyruss, console and computer entries such as Ajax, Falsion, Crisis Force, Knightmare, Hi no Tori, Axelay, Thunder Cross, Trigon, Space Manbow, Quarth and Xexex, and even the shooting minigames hidden in Tokimeki Memorial. Fan homages Satazius and Hydorah get chapters as well. The cover art is by Rusty Shackles.

As a one-company genre study it has no counterpart; Konami's shooter catalogue is otherwise documented only in scattered Japanese guides.
