Zero's Fantastic Anecdote

Zero's Fantastic Anecdote is a free, self-published vertically scrolling danmaku shooter released on Steam on 10 February 2024 for Windows and macOS. The player controls Zero, a high school student with the power of flight who is drawn into a forest world of fairies and bosses, and whose superpower manipulates the speed of incoming bullet patterns rather than erasing them. Difficulty runs from Easy and Normal through Hard to Lunatic, but the published build is only a trial of the first two stages and its final boss is not yet in the game.
