Vivid Twinkler!

Vivid Twinkler! is a free vertically scrolling danmaku shooter for Windows, published on Freem! in November 2016 by Nubabizone and modelled on the Touhou Project series. It runs to six main stages plus a bonus stage across four difficulty levels, with individually designed bullet patterns for each boss and an all-original soundtrack. Its distinguishing mechanic is a Tone Gauge that fills as the player taps direction keys and, once charged, fires a piercing shot that also collects items on screen. It took the bronze prize in the shooting category of the 12th Freem! Game Contest.
