The player picks one of four characters and works through six stages plus a post-game Extra stage, dodging enemy danmaku and clearing spell card attacks across four difficulty settings that alter the patterns used. It is unusual for a danmaku fangame in offering two player shared-screen co-op, and it is built deliberately in the style of a Super Nintendo release, with 16-bit graphics and audio and a score by Susumu Takajima of the Chuhou Joutai series.
