Subterranea

Subterranea is a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up for the Commodore 64, released in 1988 on Hewson's budget label Rack-It and reissued by Prism Leisure in 1992. Hugh Binns is credited with the code, graphics and title screen, and Jonathan Dunn with the music. Rather than fast action it emphasises threading a route through narrow underground passages, with switches that open blocked ways and hazards to be avoided.
