Spolous Ex

SPOLOUS EX is a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up by suppon, released for Windows and browsers and built in Unity. Its power-up system follows the Gradius capsule-and-gauge model: capsules collected in play light a gauge at the bottom of the screen, and pressing a dedicated power-up button spends that charge to upgrade the ship. The game is built around five routes, each unlocking a harder variant once cleared, across three difficulty classes; four fighters are selectable from the start and further craft are unlocked by accumulating credits over repeated play. The developer's release history records the original SPOLOUS reaching version 1.03 in December 2020, with the expanded SPOLOUS EX arriving as version 1.50 in August 2021.
