Snail World

snail_world is a free arcade-style shooter by nizakashii for Windows and the browser, built in the mould of Fantasy Zone, with the author noting that anyone who knows Fantasy Zone can play it without further explanation. The playfield wraps around horizontally, and a stage is cleared by destroying eight numbered enemy bases, which summons the boss. Money is spent in a shop on extra lives, speed and weapons, and almost every weapon is consumable, the exception being TWIN_BOMB. A three minute timer runs during a stage, after which scoring stops.
