Sky Lancer
Sky Lancer is a 1983 Orca arcade shooting game for one or two alternating players, presented on a vertically oriented monitor, in which the player controls a robot. The lever moves the robot up and down and turns it to face left or right, and the single button fires a beam in whichever direction it is facing. A stage mixes enemy formations, missile emplacements and a boss robot, with bonuses for clearing formations and the stage ending when the boss is destroyed, while a single hit or collision costs a life. Every fourth stage, beginning with the third, is a bonus stage in which the player's position is fixed.
