P47 Thunderbolt

P-47: The Phantom Fighter is a 1988 horizontally scrolling arcade shooter developed by NMK and published by Jaleco on Mega System 1 hardware, in which the player flies a Republic P-47 Thunderbolt through eight stages set in countries occupied by Nazi Germany, each ending in a boss. Enemies drop icon-based power-ups that add bombs, missiles and a speed booster, while taking a hit costs a life and reduces firepower, and clearing the final stage loops the game at higher difficulty. It supports two-player cooperative play, and the European home computer conversions were produced by Source the Software House and published by Firebird under the title P47 Thunderbolt.
