Opposite Attack

Opposite Attack, Chinese title 逆襲, was the second game released by the Taiwanese company Softstar, following its debut title. Chinese-language coverage describes it as a monochrome horizontally scrolling shooting game and notes that very little documentation of it survives. It is set in the year 6502, when Earth is attacked by unknown creatures and the commander's daughter is taken prisoner on the eve of the Earth Federation forces' counterattack, and the player's goal is to rescue her before that counterattack begins.
