Meteors

Meteors is a one-player variant of Asteroids written for the BBC Micro and later converted to the Acorn Electron. It plays on a single fixed screen, with a ship that rotates in either direction, thrusts, fires straight ahead and can hyperspace to a random spot on the screen. Meteors split into two smaller pieces when hit and split again after that, and enemy saucers cross the screen firing at the player, worth bonus points if shot down.
