Lazer Tag

Lazer Tag is a 1987 shooter developed by Probe Software and published by Go!, licensed from the Worlds of Wonder and Mattel toy line of the same name, for the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum. It is played from a top-down viewpoint over vertically scrolling areas, supports one or two players taking alternating turns, and includes a timed shootout round in which the player must reach a goal before the clock expires. Contemporary reviews were poor, averaging 48 percent across four ZX Spectrum magazine reviews and roughly 32 percent across five Commodore 64 reviews.
