Green Wind

Green Wind is a vertically scrolling doujin shooter released for Windows in 2005 by the Japanese developer x.x, whose own project page describes it as a vertical scroller with a deliberately small play window. It was published on the project board of Tonyu System, a Japanese hobbyist game development environment, which hosted the download of version 1.01. Scoring separates the two attack types: enemies destroyed by shots drop silver coins while those killed with the self charging slash, which also cancels bullets, drop gold, and each stage hides bonus chests.
