Gem Stone Legend

Gem Stone Legend is a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up developed and published in 1990 by the French studio Loriciel for the Amiga and Atari ST. The player rides a fireball-spitting bird through five fantasy stages, on a quest to carry off and destroy a stone coveted by the wizard Vangor. Collected power-ups improve the fireballs and holding the fire button longer increases their power, and a second player can join for cooperative play.
