Evade

Evade is a side scrolling space shooter that Modus Create released in December 2016 for the Arduboy, an Arduino based handheld, and gave to the company's clients as a holiday present. Its announcement lists a starfield backdrop, three enemy types and three boss types, custom explosion and sound effects, a menu system and an original soundtrack, all fitted into an Arduino sketch that fills 99 percent of the Arduboy's 28,672 bytes of program storage. Modus Create published the source code on GitHub and followed the game in December 2017 with Evade 2, a space flight sequel.
