Cotton Reboot! High Tension!

Cotton Reboot! High Tension! is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up published by BEEP for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, released in Japan in July 2025 as a sequel to 2021's Cotton Reboot!. The witch Cotton and the fairy Silk return alongside a new character, Macaron. The central new system is Over Tension, which activates once the item gauge reaches 100 percent and doubles the score while making enemy attacks more extreme; the previous game's Fever mechanic returns in an intensified Willow Fever form. A further addition, Enemy Capture, lets the player turn enemy characters into help for clearing a stage, alongside returning magic such as Fire Dragon and Lightning.
