BulletHell Planes
BulletHell Planes is a freeware arcade shoot 'em up for Windows, released in February 2019 by Lucy Westerdijk and built in GameMaker. It uses a portrait, vertically oriented playfield in which the player's aircraft sits at the bottom of a narrow canyon while waves of enemy planes come down from the top. Movement is on WASD or a controller stick and is separate from firing, which is bound to the mouse buttons or triggers and can be held down to charge a large beam; an on-screen wave counter and score multiplier drive its short score-attack sessions.
