Airrade: Summer

AIRRADE-Summer- is an expansion disc for AIRRADE, the first doujin game by the Japanese circle Studio SiestA and a fan shooter built around the cast of Key's AIR; the circle dates the base game to 27 April 2002 and Summer to 1 October 2002, and bills both as a comical punch shooting game. It is a horizontally scrolling shooter in which the player picks a character and attacks with a forward shot and a punch that knocks enemies across the screen so they detonate anything they touch, a chain system the packaging sold as scoring big on the punch alone. Summer adds four playable characters, rebuilds stage 1, adjusts enemy placement and adds further hidden minigames; it originally would not run without AIRRADE installed and was only rebuilt to work standalone after the base game stopped being distributed.
