3 Deep Space
AKA: 3-Deep Space
3 Deep Space is a fixed screen shooter published by Postern in 1983 and credited to Mike Singleton, with ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Commodore 64 and VIC-20 versions. The player holds the entrance to a Stargate against an Andromedan starfleet, shooting ships that descend the screen towards a craft anchored at the bottom and losing if a Dragon Class Starcruiser gets past. Its selling point was stereoscopic depth: 3D glasses were supplied with the game, enemies approached at several different depths, and the player could move into and out of the screen as well as left and right.
