Konami's official guide to Gradius Portable, the 2006 PSP compilation, published the same year. Across 191 pages it covers all five games in the collection: Gradius, Gradius II, Gradius III, Gradius IV and Gradius Gaiden.

Gradius Gaiden, originally a 1997 PlayStation release, was included in the compilation, and the guide's single-volume treatment of five arcade and console entries makes it in effect a series handbook, the widest coverage of Gradius any one official guide has attempted.

For players working through the series' loops and weapon configurations on modern hardware, it remains the most comprehensive first-party reference in print.
